Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl:

-1 Lb boneless chicken breast, cut up in bite size pieces

-salt and pepper


-steamed broccoli

For the sauce:

-1/4 cup packed light brown sugar

-1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

-2 Tablespoons rice or apple cider vinegar

-1/2 teaspoon garlic minced

-1 Tablespoon cornstarch



-cook rice according to package

-steam broccoli

-season chicken with salt and pepper and place it in a non-stick skillet

-cook chicken until done, stirring often

-in a small bowl add all ingredients for the sauce. Whisk together until there are no lumps. Add sauce to chicken and cook stirring constantly, until it thicken into a shiny glaze

-remove from heat and add all ingredients together
